Madwine does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 21. By using and purchasing on MadWine.com you are affirming that you and the person receiving the shipment are over the age of 21. All orders will require proper identification upon delivery and all shipments will be clearly labeled to indicate that the package can’t be delivered to anyone under the age of 21.
MadWine offers free local delivery in the greater Seattle area for orders over $250.00. Please select MadWine free local delivery as the shipping option at check out.
MadWine offers local pick up for those orders in Washington State. Please select local pick-up as the shipping option at check out. You will receive an email once the order is ready to be picked up.

Most orders ship within 48 hours, MadWine uses FedEx for shipping all packages. Unless otherwise specified, MadWine ships all orders via FedEx Ground which takes up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. If you need an order delivered by a specific time, please let us know in the Customer Comment section of your order and we will do our best to accomodate your request.
During the winter and summer month’s extreme weather conditions can result in shipping delays. In order to avoid damaging (spoiling) your wines we recommend expediting shipping. MadWine will hold shipments during these times unless otherwise specified by the customer. Orders once completed will be charged even if wine is being held due to extreme weather conditions.
To make delivery easier, make sure that that there is an adult available to sign for your package. If you can ship to a business address it can avoid any delays. If you do choose to ship to a residence, FedEx will make 3 consecutive day delivery attempts to your place of residence, if you happen to miss FedEx all 3 days they will hold the package another 5 business days at their local FedEx customer service counter for pick up.
All orders placed before 8am Monday-Friday will be treated as orders placed that day and will be shipped within 2-4 business days, all orders placed after 8am will be treated as orders placed the next business day and be shipped within 2-4 business days.
Although we do have many wines in our store a lot of the wines on the site may need to be ordered. We order wines twice a week Mondays and Thursdays and do the majority of our shipping on Tuesdays and Fridays.
