Open a bottle of Bergevin Lane Calico Red 2005 and lush aromas of dark and red berries, spice, herbs, and vanilla will fill the glass. The wine is deep in color. On the palate tastes of dark fruits, spice, and licorice. A nice smooth finish with lingering berries, pepper, and licorice. An excellent wine to sip it with or without food- but if you do want to pair it -try any spicy food, BBQ, or pizza. |
