Harvested at 15% potential alcohol, without botrytis which was almost nonexistent in 2011. 16 grams of residual sugar. The nose is more about brown sugar and ripeness and less about dried fruit and botrytis. Candied nose, almost like sugarcane or rock candy. Has a heavy texture but is not cloying, with nice acidity which is hidden behind the sugar. A lovely silky texture on the finish.
