Finally! Back to Pinot Noir! Feel the roar of the crowd... take it all in. Murphy-Goode has returned with a California Pinot Noir emanating from Santa Barbara, Monterey, and beyond. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, dried sage, and sweet vanilla with toast culminate in a great glass of one of our favorite varietals.

Murphy-Goode Pinot Noir 2008
Murphy-Goode was founded in 1985 by Tim Murphy, Dale Goode and Dave Ready. Dave Ready was the marketer.

Murphy and Goode were growers who helped to pioneer Alexander Valley. They brought wire trellising, broad scale drip irrigation and leaf pulling to Alexander Valley. Tim Murphy is considered a father of California Sauvignon Blanc.

All wines are grown in Sonoma County, and the estate wines grown exclusively in Alexander Valley. Murphy-Vineyards, owned by the Murphy family, is 300 acres in the heart of Alexander Valley. We produce many wines out of these varietals- Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
